I’m truly thankful. I’m running on enthusiasm and I don’t see myself slowing down any time soon. As we approach the New Year, a little bit of self reflection never hurt anyone.

How in the world does that trajectory lead him to form 57 Maiden (57/M) 11 months ago, co-found a Prediction Markets Hedge Fund, and grind out an event series that connects Athletes & Alternative Asset allocators from around the world?

Enthusiasm + Exploration = Engineering Serendipity - yours truly

The underrated part of the above Steve Jobs quote that sums up my life and career so far is the word trust. Trusting myself and that my work will be valuable hasn’t come easy, but I’ve worked hard at it, and I’m finally allowing the self trust to flow.

I have so many people ask me “What is it you do exactly”? And, after many iterations, I'm workshopping:

I work on the fun stuff.

I work at the confluence of Prediction Markets, Sports, Crypto, AI, Finance, AI Filmmaking, Comedy, Gaming, Longevity and Entertainment. I build businesses, advise clients and invest in founders and funds.

Working on the fun stuff doesn’t mean that it’s easy, (actually I’m a big believer in the 'obstacle is the way' mode) however, showcasing trust in my work is something that the swashbuckling explorer in me needs to foster.

And for those of you also going through your own version of touching the sky and coming back to earth, trust is your word too. Literature features these types of stories often; from Daedalus and Icarus to Jack and Beanstalk. And from my favorite musical ‘Into the Woods’, my favorite lyrics sung by Jack after touching the sky and returning home…

The crypto market dumped, you ok bro?

All good. I’ve been an LP in a Hedge Fund that was down 97% YoY and came roaring back. We’re just getting going with crypto and AI, and I continue to follow the builders. My clients are building the future of yield on Bitcoin, Stablecoin Infrastructure, and Prediction Markets. This is the most liquid and highest performing asset class in the world, and I’m constantly impressed at crypto’s ability to transform itself and innovate.
